Journey: Artist Reception
Artist Reception: Journey
With Nozomi
"Journey" is an exhibition that invites people to embark on an exploration of nature, identity, and interconnectedness through series of photographic works. This exhibition consists of several series of the artist’s work that explore various elements of our existence - ground, water, trees, and personal reflection. These celebrate the profound relationships with our surroundings and ourselves.
The use of film photography adds a layer of intimacy and authenticity. The tactile nature of film and print making may resonate with the themes of grounding and presence.
This exhibition promotes us to reflect on the connections we share with our environment, each other, and ourselves. "Journey" is not just an invitation to observe; it is a call to engage, to reflect, and to deepen our appreciation to our place within this intricate web of life. “Journey” celebrates the beauty of existence, resilience, and interconnectedness.
