These fun and engaging art workshops are designed to spark creativity while building strong foundational skills. Over the course of four weeks, students will complete 2–3 projects based on their interests, exploring new materials and techniques while developing confidence in their artistic voice.

Led by artist and educator Dani Franke, the classes focus on both imagination and technical skill, with plenty of room for personal expression. Students will experiment with a variety of media and styles in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.

Important Notes for Parents:

• Please have your child wear clothes they can get messy in - art can get a little wild!

In this exploratory class, we’ll paint the same subject on three very different surfaces—classic white watercolour paper, bold black paper, and slick synthetic Yupo. Discover how each support changes the way your paints behave and your final piece looks.

We’ll dive into the magic of transparent vs. opaque pigments, experiment with layering, lifting, and blending, and even dip a brush into gouache for added punch. Expect lots of colour, lots of discovery, and a few happy accidents along the way!
