Ready to shake up your watercolour practice? In this exploratory class, we’ll paint the same subject on three very different surfaces—classic white watercolour paper, bold black paper, and slick synthetic Yupo. Discover how each support changes the way your paints behave and your final piece looks.
We’ll dive into the magic of transparent vs. opaque pigments, experiment with layering, lifting, and blending, and even dip a brush into gouache for added punch. Expect lots of colour, lots of discovery, and a few happy accidents along the way!
