As a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts, we strive to make art accessible to everyone in our community. That's why every week, we offer free, fun, and creative programs for all ages.
Community Drop-In
Tuesdays, 10 AM – 4 PM
Location: LRC
Every Tuesday, artists of all levels are invited to gather, create, and connect in a welcoming, community-focused space.
Bring your own materials and join others where you can share ideas, work on personal projects, and be inspired by fellow artists.
YDIP (Youth Drop-In)
Tuesdays, 4 PM – 7 PM
Location: LRC
YDIP is a free drop-in program for youth ages 6–19, offering a space to explore art with guidance from guest facilitators. All materials are provided, and no experience is needed. Youth ages 6–8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Donations are welcome to support this valuable program.
Leduc Artful Expressions - Open Mic Series

Ready to share your talent? Join us for Leduc Artful Expressions Open Mic Night with special guest performers! Whether you're a musician, poet, or performer, the stage is yours. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Open Mic runs from September to June, with a summer break.
Drop In & Create
Saturdays, 1 PM – 4 PM (Starts Sept 6)
Location: LRC
Hosted by the Leduc Art Club, this weekly drop-in offers a simple, open space for artists to work on their own projects. Bring your own supplies and connect with others in a casual, creative setting.

Since 2021, the Leduc Artful Expressions: Open Mic Series has been a dynamic platform for artistic expression, community engagement, and cultural celebration in Leduc, Alberta. The series was launched as an initiative and collaboration between the Leduc Arts Foundry and local arts advocates, providing performers of all ages and skill levels a welcoming space to share their talent, gain performance experience, and connect with the community.
Over the years, the series has hosted aspiring and seasoned musicians, poets, and performers, fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration. With each season, it has grown in scope and impact, becoming a cornerstone of Leduc’s cultural landscape. The Open Mic Series celebrates local talent, amplifies diverse voices, and strengthens connections between performers and audiences, inspiring both artistic growth and community engagement throughout the region.
Through regular live performances, the series continues to inspire participants to develop their artistic skills while engaging the broader community, strengthening Leduc’s reputation as a vibrant hub for the arts.
The Open Mic 2025–2026 Series envisions a thriving and inclusive arts community where every voice is heard, every performer can grow, and audiences experience the power of live artistic expression. The series is committed to providing regular performance opportunities that showcase local and regional talent, celebrate diversity, and foster community engagement.
By partnering with schools, community organizations, and local businesses, the series aims to enhance Leduc’s cultural identity, connect artists with their community, and inspire the next generation of performers. Through the 2025–2026 season, the Open Mic Series aspires to continue its legacy as a welcoming, creative, and transformative space where artistic growth, collaboration, and cultural vibrancy flourish.
