Family-Friendly Policy
The Leduc Arts Foundry welcomes artists, makers, and the public into a community-centered, family-friendly event space. Because our markets take place within public areas and attract a wide range of audiences, including children, we ask all participating vendors to present their work with this in mind.
Policy Guidelines
Family-Friendly Presentation: Works containing sensitive or mature themes are permitted; however, they may not be placed as the first or most prominent pieces on display (e.g., front and center of a booth). Artists must display such works in a way that gives visitors the choice to engage.
Themes Requiring Careful Display: The following subject matter may be accepted but must be positioned respectfully within booths:
Implied or partial nudity
Suggestive or mature themes
Symbolic or artistic representations of violence, grief, or death
Not Permitted: Works that include or promote the following will not be accepted:
Hate speech or discriminatory content (racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, etc.)
Explicit sexual content or pornography
Glorification of drugs or illegal activities
Graphic violence or gore
Explicit political propaganda
Discretion & Enforcement
The Leduc Arts Foundry reserves the right to determine whether artwork meets the family-friendly standard.
Artists may be asked to reposition or remove specific works if they are deemed unsuitable for open display.
Non-compliance with this policy may result in removal from the event without refund.
