Art Jam: Birthday Edition!

January marks two years since the inception of the Leduc Arts Foundry, so join us on Wednesday, January 30 for a very special birthday edition of the Leduc Arts Foundry Art Jam (and yes, there will be cake)! Our January hosts are the Leduc Art Club, and they have generously provided their clubhouse as our meeting space for the evening (address in event description).

The Foundry would like to encourage everyone to take a couple hours out of their busy schedules to work on the things that nurture our creative spirits most, alongside likeminded individuals. This will be a leisurely and informal evening for artists and artisans of any background and skill level to create alongside other artists, get inspired, and meet new friends. You never know what connections and collaborations may form when we come together.

There is no cost to join, but we ask that all artists bring their own materials and project(s) to work on.

Art Jam

Feeling like you need a mid-week break? Come create with us!

Help kick off the first Art Jam at the Civic Centre on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 6:30-8:30. Our November host is Toscha Turner, Leduc Manager of Arts, Heritage and Culture. In addition to her role with the City of Leduc, Toscha is a musician, sound artist, and ethnomusicologist.

The Foundry would like to encourage everyone to take a couple hours out of their busy schedules to work on the things that nurture our creative spirits most, alongside likeminded individuals. We invite artists and artisans of any and all disciplines, skill levels, and backgrounds to join us for a leisurely and informal evening of creativity, conversation, collaboration, and connection.

There is no cost to join. Bring your materials and a project to working on, in whatever medium or discipline, and create alongside other makers, artists, and craftspeople. You never know what connections and collaborations may form when we come together. Create, get inspired, make connections. All are welcome!!!
